02/09/2018 - Sale Fell and Ling Fell with Richard from Brumston Bridge. When we arranged this trip the previous week the weather forecast had been fairly positive but then unfortunately deteriorated. In the event we had to put up with quite a lot of cloud and long distance views were far from good. Nevertheless we had a reasonably decent walk and apart from a brief spasm of rain on Ling Fell the day kept dry.
