| 2005 09 04 - The Fairfield Horseshoe taking in Low Pike, High Pike, Fairfield, Dove Crag, Hart Crag, Great Rigg and Heron Pike with Paul Drury. |
|
This was a hot day in late summer with lots of blue sky and little cloud. Long distance views were hazy but otherwise excellent. It was a fantastic walk on a fabulous day - one that ranks with the best. We finished the day off with a couple of well earned pints of Theakston's at the Royal Oak in Ambleside. |
