The Lake District Mountains |
14/09/2005 - Red Screes and Middle Dodd. The car park opposite the Kirkstone Pass Inn was my starting point today. I climbed up to the summit of Red Screes and also took in Middle Dodd. It was my first time on Red Screes since December 1983. It was a fine but cloudy day with a little sunshine breaking through from time to time. At least the clouds kept high and free of the tops. And of course I ended up in the Kirkstone Pass Inn at the end of the walk.
