16/08/2009 - Helvellyn with Joe, starting from Wythburn car park.

From Birk Side onwards we were engulfed by cloud and higher up we were lashed by strong winds and cold rain. And this was summer! It was a relief to get to the shelter. There were no views to be had for Joe on his first trip to Helvellyn. He'll just have to do it again and again and again.....
