Ullock Pike,
Long Side,
Carl Side and
Skiddaw with Joe.
We parked on the
Orthwaite Road just above High Side. Considering all the rain we had
experienced in the run up to this trip we were fortunate to enjoy good
weather for this walk. Although there were plenty of clouds about all day
and some coldish winds on Skiddaw we enjoyed a good deal of sunshine and
it remained dry from start to finish. My legs were tired and aching
as we descended through the heather off Broad Crag, but Joe was still running.
