21 02 2007 -The Knott, Rampsgill Head and Kidsty Pike

My aim today was to get to the top of Kidsty Pike which I hadn't done before. It was very damp and cloudy but at least there was no heavy rain or strong, cold winds. The low cloud became more of a problem on Rampsgill Head but fortunately it lifted a little as I approached Kidsty Pike. One or two of the photos seem a little out of focus which is a bit unfortunate. Nevertheless it was satisfying to have been on Kidsty Pike's summit at last. I had another excellent pint of Hawkshead Bitter at the Kirkstone Pass Inn to conclude the trip.
