The Lake District Mountains |
25/01/2007 - Dollywaggon Pike, High Crag and Nethermost Pike with Paul D. We set off up Raise Beck from Dunmail Raise with the promise of sunshine and clear views. We were not disappointed. We had blue skies and good visibility all the way despite some ice-cold winds on the tops. There were stunning views of snow-covered St Sunday Crag, Fairfield and Seat Sandal. Striding Edge had a procession of walkers strung out along its spine making their careful progress towards Helvellyn's summit. We descended via Comb Crags to conclude an excellent walk.
