20/07/2025 - Silver How - with Alison, Mike, Ana and Jack. We started the walk from Grasmere on a warm but overcast afternoon. Our intention was to reach the summit of Silver How before heading for Blea Rigg and then completing a circular walk back to Grasmere. After leaving Silver How, however, extensive low cloud began to seriously affect visibility. Eventually with the onset of rain we decided to cut the walk short and leave Blea Rigg for another day. |
