15 09 2006 - Whiteless Pike, Thirdgill Head Man, Wandope and Grasmoor with Paul D

We started the walk from the car park behind the Fish Inn at Buttermere. There had been lots of rain earlier in the week so we were a little mistrustful of the weather forecast which suggested some sunshine. In the event it was a beautiful, sunny day from start to finish. The walk was superb and the views excellent. The Haystacks bitter back at the Fish Hotel where we rested our weary legs at the end the walk was also first class but we'd have happily drunk it anyway.
