    24 05 2005 - Pike O'Stickle and Harrison Stickle with Paul D

We'd had this day pencilled in for a walk for a few weeks so we were determined to go ahead with it despite the weather forecast which wasn't encouraging. What was supposed to be light rain was quite heavy at times and the cloud level denied us any chance of decent views. We parked near the New Dungeon Ghyll hotel and set off towards Pike O'Stickle. Long before the top we were surrounded by mist that stayed with us to Harrison Stickle and didn't leave us until we dropped down to Stickle Tarn. Not the best of days for photographs.
