19-03-2009 - Coniston Old Man, Brim Fell and Swirl How with Paul D |

We parked on the Walna Scar Road and headed up the Old Man via Boo Tarn. It was a beautiful, exhilarating spring day although long distant views were a little hazy. A few patches of snow could still be seen on higher ground beneath a mostly clear, blue sky. It was a fabulous walk in excellent weather. We stopped for welcome refreshments at The Sun Inn on the way back down to Coniston. |
