27-08-2022 - Great Calva and Knott with Alison, Joe, Ana and Jack |
We parked near Grainsgill Bridge at the far end of Swineside and set off along along the Caldew Valley towards Great Calva. After a welcome rest for refreshments we followed the well trodden path towards Knott before descending back to our starting point. It was a fine day for walking with a few clouds but plenty of blue sky and some sunny periods. We had a splendid time.
