16 10 2008 - The Knott, Rampsgill Head and High Raise (Martindale) and Brock Crags with Paul D

We parked at Cow Bridge and set off through Hartsop village towards Hayeswater Reservoir via the filter house. It was a day of mixed weather with sunshine and showers and a cold wind on High Raise. Visibility was mostly excellent however, and the walk across Satura Crag to Brock Crags was particularly enjoyable. Not so enjoyable was the steep section of footpath on loose stones through the woods towards Angletarn Beck. A leisurely pint of 'Wainwright' at the Kirkstone Pass Inn perfectly completed the day.
