06 06 2006 -White Side, Lower Man, Helvellyn, Catstycam and Birkhouse Moor

I started from Glenridding car park and set off along Greenside Road, following the path up Glenridding Beck towards the old abandoned damn. Despite some high clouds it was a beautiful sunny day and a pleasure to be out in the hills. The walk took in White Side, Lower Man, Helvellyn, Catstycam (via Swirral  Edge) and Birkhouse Moor. It was superb from start to finish. As it happens it finished at the Kirkstone Pass Inn!
