I started from Glenridding car park and set off along Greenside Road, following the path up Glenridding Beck towards the old abandoned damn. It was a beautiful sunny day though distant views were a little hazy. The walk took in White Side, Lower Man, Helvellyn, Catstycam (via Swirral Edge) and Birkhouse Moor. It was superb from start to finish. As it happens it finished at the Kirkstone Pass Inn! |
