2005 08 07 - Branstree, Artlecrag Pike and Tarn Crag.
The single track road down to Sadgill was longer and narrower than I remembered. It was a warm sunny day with plenty of walkers about making the parking by the bridge very limited. My goal today was to get some photos of Branstree and Tarn Crag for this website. Unfortunately my camera (Kodak LS443) had died on me a couple of days earlier (probably as a result of dropping it on rocks on Bowscale fell recently) and I hadn't had time to get a replacement. I hastily borrowed Jane's hp photosmart 320 and set off towards Gatescarth Pass hoping I'd get at least a few decent shots. I think I did ok in the end. Must get a new camera!
