30 03 2004 - Stybarrow Dodd and Raise |
I parked by the phone box at Stanah and followed the path towards Sticks pass. At about 2200ft I branched off to the left to head directly for the summit of Stybarrow Dodd. It was a warm spring day but from this point it began to get colder and the wind became more noticeable. From Stybarrow Dodd I dropped down to Sticks Pass and then climbed up to Raise. The walk was exhilarating but unfortunately the views at the top were a little hazy and disappointing. |
