Walk first completed 02 12 1983 with Marj, Mary and Dave. We set off from the Kirkstone Pass up Red Screes and headed for Fairfield via Dove Crag and Hart Crag. We then dropped down to Grisedale Tarn before climbing to Helvellyn's summit over Dollywaggon Pine, High Crag and Nethermost Pike. We descended via Swirrall Edge. Walk also completed on other occasions.
