Walk completed 17 06 2003 with Paul D. We had an interesting drive through Wrynose Pass and Hard Knot Pass before starting the walk from Jubilee Bridge. The weather was fine but long distance views were hazy. As we climbed ever nearer to the summit clouds raced in from the general direction of Skiddaw and chased out any chance of good, long distance views. The mist caused us to miss the exact footpath we intended to descend by, but as we reached the lower ground we left the clouds and there was no real difficulty finding our way back to the car, even if we did have to improvise a little on the way.
