Walk first completed 05/04/2002 with Richard. We parked somewhere along Swineside. It was a nice clear, spring day though a little chilly on the tops. Long distance views were a little hazy. The path up to the large cairn at the south east corner of the main plateau varies between indistinct and non-existent. A route has to be negotiated through bracken and gorse but once the cairn is reached there is a clear view of the summit which can be achieved without difficulty.

Our walk took us on to High Pike, Great Lingy Hill, Little and Great Sca Fell and Knott before descending over Coomb Height back down to Swineside.
